Every year I say to William “I look forward to taking your photos every year.” And he replies “you probably say that to everyone.” I do love all of my clients don’t get me wrong, but there is just something about this family that gets me excited. For some reason we always get the best light, the best color, and the best smiles every time. I mean one year we had our own concert on the beach at Hidden Falls as an eagle circled over head against a golden sunset. What?

Dawn and I met at ECFE and she has asked me to take their family photos every year since. I will admit I do remember the first session was a gray winter day, but every time after has been magical. I have told Dawn before that she is a light. Perhaps that is why our lighting is always good. She shines in so many ways throughout our community. And as I am writing this I am aware of the connection to the name Dawn and light!
